LANDOVER (GaeaTimes.com)- Each and every year not only team supporters, but also the media and the team management looks forward to the season opening college football game to spot talents and the emerging stars. This year was no different. When on Monday night Virginia Tech University Hokies went against the Boise State University team in the season opening football game, the player who caught the attention of all was Boise State University quarterback Kellen Moore and Wide receiver Austin Pettis who turned the game in favor of their team.

Although the Boise State University team had emerged strong from the very beginning of the Monday night play, and were able to mark a 17-0 lead in the first quarter, the quarterback duo of the Virginia Tech University team Ryan Williams and Tyrod Taylor emerged with some good play in the next two quarters and lead their team to mark a lead. However, both of them failed to restrict Kellen Moore and Austin Pettis who kept the scoreboard changing from the time to time. Kellen Moore with less than two minutes remaining for the game went for a brilliant 13-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Austin Pettis who then caught the ball to score the winning points just on time with only few seconds remaining.

Both Kellen Moore and Austin Pettis are now looking forward to maintain their performance all through the season. An elated Kellen Moore on Monday night said to media sources that he hopes to make it big once again at Wyoming where the team is scheduled to meet the Oregon State University team on Sep 25.
