MURRAY, Ky. — Matt Scheible ran for a career-high 134 yards and threw for 140 yards and a touchdown to lead Southeast Missouri to a 30-17 win over Murray State on Saturday night.

The Redhawks (1-1, 1-0 Ohio Valley Conference) scored 20 points in the second half en route to their first win in a conference opener since 2006.

Scheible threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Brian Brown on third-and-goal for a 20-17 lead, then his 60-yard run sparked the next drive, which ended with a field goal.
