Bopanna, Qureshi ranked sixth in ATP doubles

CHENNAI - Following their entry into the final of the US Open tennis final, India’s Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan’s Aisam Qureshi are now ranked World No. 6 in the latest ATP doubles team rankings.

The India-Pakistani duo jumped nine positions to achieve their highest ever world ranking as a team.

Bopanna is now ranked a career-high 19 in the Doubles list, moving up 14 places. Qureshi also moved 11 spots to achieve his best ever ranking of 23.

Bopanna will be seen in action in this weekend’s Davis Cup World Group playoff tie against Brazil in Chennai.

Meanwhile, Somdev Devvarman fell 15 places to the 113th position.
