Reggie Bush Injury Details

San Francisco (GaeaTimes.com) - New Orleans Saints player Reggie Bush has suffered a broken bone in lower right leg and may miss several weeks of play. Saints’ had a victory of 25-22 Monday night over San Francisco 49ers. It has been reported by NewOrleans.com that Bush would be out for a minimum six weeks.

The injury is not believed to be continue till the season ends. Bush is now on crutches and has left Candlestick Park. It has been scheduled that the player will undergo further medical evaluation. After that he will be returned to New Orleans.

Bush said that he is just trying not to think about the worst and just try to stay as positive as he can in that situation. He is just hoping for the best. Bush hurt himself with 6:58 remaining. He was having trouble to catch the ball at windy Candlestick Park. He had dived to cover up the loose ball and hurt himself.

He was taken care by the trainers. He then tried to walk away from the field with the help of his right leg. He then fell back on the field and was being helped. Bush was taken to the locker room by a cart. Before going away he was hugged by his teammates. Tom Benson met Bush in the locker room and encouraged him a lot.

Few days before there were a controversy regarding Bush. Last Tuesday,
he gave back his Heisman Trophy. The NCAA punished after they came to a conclusion that Bush and his family had taken money and gifts from sports agents. But at that time Bush played for the Trojans. Bush had returned the award in order to end the controversy. Bush said that the last week was pretty tough for him, but life will go on for him.
