Australia win toss, choose to bat in Mohali Test

MOHALI - Australia Friday elected to bat first after captain Ricky Ponting won the toss for the first Test match against India at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium here.

The Mohali Test match is the first of the two-Test match series between both sides.

India has included off spinner Harbhajan Singh in their squad, ending speculations about his fitness.
