Brit Muslim boxer Amir feared he would die in Philippines horror typhoon

LONDON - Brit Muslim boxing hero Amir Khan has revealed how he feared he would die in a Philippines hotel as it was hit by a 160 miles per hour typhoon.

The Sun quoted Amir, 23, as saying: “The winds are really loud - I thought the buildings were going to fall. It won’t stop raining and they’re expecting it to get worse. You cannot get food - we had to go to another hotel to get some.”People were not allowed to go out,” he added.

Super-typhoon Megi is heading to China where 140,000 people have been evacuated. (ANI)
