ABU DHABI - South African right-arm medium-fast bowler Rusty Theron took a career-best 4-27 to help his team clinch a six-wicket victory against Pakistan in the second Twenty20 international played here on Wednesday.

With this win, South Africa has sealed the two match series 2-0, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Twenty-six-year-old Theron bowled with purpose as South Africa once again restricted the former World Twenty20 champions to a low score of 120 for the loss of nine wickets on a flat Abu Dhabi cricket Stadium for a second day in succession.

Thereafter South African captain Graeme Smith (38) and middle order bats Colin Ingram (31) and Jean-Paul Duminy (19 not out) took their team to victory in a canter with eight balls to spare.

For Pakistan, only Misbah-ul-Haq scored a resolute 38-ball 33, hitting two boundaries and a six.

Abdul Razzaq (25) was the other main scorer for Pakistan. (ANI)
