India 329/3 against New Zealand on day one of Test

AHMEDABAD - Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid slammed centuries and took India to 329 for the loss of three wickets at the end of opening day’s play in the first cricket Test against New Zealand here Thursday.

Sehwag scored 173 (199b, 24×4, 1×6) and Dravid 104 (227b, 14×4).

Sachin Tendulkar was batting on 13 and V.V.S. Laxman 7 when the stumps were drawn.

For New Zealand, Chrish Martin, Daniel Vettori and Jesse Ryder took a wicket each.
