Asian Games sailing: India win silver in open match racing

GUANGZHOU - India won a surprising silver in the men’s open match racing event at the Asian Games here Saturday.

The Indian team comprising Farokh Faramroze Tarapore (skipper), Balraj, Atool Sinha, Shekhar Singh Yadav and Trunal Helengaonkar won the silver medal at the Shanwei Water Sports Centre.

The gold went to the Japanese team comprising Wataru Sakamoto (skipper), Daichi Wada, Yasuhiro Okamoto and Hiroaki Yoshifuji.
