MIAMI GARDENS (GaeaTimes.com)- South Florida Bulls have at last made it. Saturday’s game saw them emerging out as victorious over the Miami Hurricanes. This is the first time that the South Florida Bulls have achieved a victory over the Miami Hurricanes. Those present at the Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, got to witness a tightly packed showdown between the two teams resulting in a 23-20 score.

For the large number of audiences present at the stadium, the game was indeed a thrilling experience. South Florida Bulls coach Skip Holtz was absolutely delighted with his team’s victory and according to sources, he just could not stop gushing about his boys. The coach had replaced earlier coach Jim Leavitt, and it seems like the football team has reaped seeds of profit, as was proved by Saturday’s match. Eyewitnesses say that the South Florida Bulls literally started storming into the field. New comer Bobby Eveld, the backup quarterback was seen providing some relief to starter B.J. Daniels in the second half, and came up as a pleasant surprise when he began handling the game pressure by dominating the Miami Hurricanes.

For both the teams, it was a tough battle that they had thrown upon each other and after a hard hitting struggle, the South Florida finally succeeded in surviving the Miami Hurricanes. South Florida Bulls’s Maikon Bonani gave a 21- yard goal at the final moment before the break time leading his team for 3-0. Then they went on to extend their lead to an 10-0 with Demetrius Murray scoring an eight yard run at the ninth minute of the third quarter. Following their loss, Miami Hurricanes head coach Randy Shannon was fired on Saturday itself.
