TAMPA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Connecticut Huskies have finally made it. They will play their first ever BCS Bowl after they defeated the South Florida Bulls on Saturday night’s football match. The UConn knocked off the Bulls by 19-16 in the final match of Big East Conference action. The credit for this undoubtedly goes to Dave Teggart and Punter Cole Wagner. According to football experts, the Connecticut Huskies would not have been able to beat the South Florida Bulls with that score.

Dave Teggart winning goal came at the last moment when there was only 17 seconds for the game to end. Not only the football critics but also the team have admitted that the two players were the chief reasons behind the victory they achieved last night. Dave Teggart went for four goals including the last winning one, the 52 yard, which shot the Huskies straight for victory. Punter Cole Wagner averaged 53.2 yards on six punts and then downed one at the USF 1 yard line. Jordan Todman from the UConn‘ side came up for 93 yards. From the South Florida Bulls came up the Bobby Eveld who threw for 195 yards and went on to score a touch down with three interceptions leading to their USF defeat.

South Florida Bulls had made the first score with a 42 yard field goal by Maikon Bonani to which UConn gave a 40 yard answer through Dave Teggart. After the first quarter of the football match the score stood for 3-3. With his win of the Connecticut Huskies, the team has come to share the Big East Conference title with West Virginia and Pittsburgh. As to who will be the opponents to the Huskies will come out today itself.
