Saina in final of Hong Kong Open

HONG KONG - India’s Saina Nehwal defeated Germany’s Juliane Schenk to move into the final of the Hong Kong Open Super Series badminton tournament here Saturday.

Saina, seeded second, won 21-19, 17-21, 21-12 against the sixth seeded Juliane in 53 minutes at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

In Sunday’s final, Saina will face third seeded Chinese Shixian Wang, who defeated her compatriot and top-seed Xin Wang 21-13, 21-14 in the other semi-final that lasted just 31 minutes.
