BOISE (GaeaTimes.com)- The Humanitarian Bowl took place yesterday, to clash between the Northern Illinois Huskies and the Fresno State Bulldogs. Like many people had anticipated, the match went in favor of the Huskies with a final score of 40-17.

Although the first quarter of the Humanitarian Bowl was very much in favor of the Bulldogs, they could not continue with it for too long, due to a lot of miscommunication within the team and lack of poise. All the fans of the Bulldogs were under the impression that they would finally make it bigger in this match, after their ordinary pre-Bowl finish, with a 8-5. They also thought, that perhaps they are finally on the way to emerge victorious in one of the Bowl games after 2007. However, as the first quarter ended, it seemed like the Huskies were making wild attempts to vent their spleen on the Bulldogs, to completely paralyze their opponent’s defense and offense. Quarterback Chandler Harnish made two touchdowns and thereby gifted the only victory to their interim coach Tom Matukewicz. The coach was extremely delighted with the victory of his team, as it proved his potential and established his dedication, although he was appointed in the middle of the season. He said that his main focus was on the upcoming two weeks and asked his players not to worry much about the changes that are likely to affect the team in the next few days.

The main player of the Humanitarian Bowl was none other than Chandler Harnish, who completed 17 of 25 for 300 yards passing with yet another 72 yards rushing yards. Running back Chad Spann also added two more touchdowns and 95 yards.
