MADRID - Spanish Liga club Espanyol have confirmed that Pablo Osvaldo badly tore the abductor muscle in his left leg in Sunday’s 4-0 thrashing of Zaragoza.

The Espanyol doctors believe that the Argentine striker - who scored the first goal in the win - will be out of action for around two months.

Osvaldo, 25, has been a great success since joining Espanyol from Bologna in January 2010. The Catalan club are joint fourth in La Liga, level on 31 points with Valencia.
