DIAMONDHEAD (GaeaTimes.com)- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre’s sister Brandi Favre has been arrested on charges of drug possession in Mississippi. Brett Favre’s younger sister was among five people who were arrested in Diamondhead on Wednesday. The law enforcement officials reported that they arrested Brandi Favre, after they discovered meth laboratory in a condominium complex.

The local media outlets reported that the Hancock County authorities responded to the complex after they allegedly witnessed a drug buy. However, the authorities have not yet announced the specific charges against the five people (three men and two women) yet. A source close to Hancock County authorities, reportedly, told a media outlet that the five suspects were first taken to the hospital for drug test before they were taken into jail. Some celebrity and media outlets reported that Brandi Favre was previously arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and shoplifting. The law enforcement officials reported that they discovered perilous objects from the condominium as well. The director for narcotics of Hancock County, Major Matt Karl said that Brandi Favre was in the wrong place at a very wrong time.

The law enforcement officials reported that the five suspects were, reportedly, cooking methamphetamine in the bathtub of the laboratory. Moreover, the police also seized out 9 grams of drug from the laboratory. Brett Favre’s representative declined to comment about the Brandi Favre’s matter. The quarterback, is presently facing his own legal problems. Earlier this month, two massage therapists, who used to work for New York Jets filed a lawsuit against the player, claiming that he sexually harassed them when Brett Favre was a player of the team. Other than that Jen Sterger (journalist) also filed a lawsuit against the quarterback, for sending her explicit text messages.
