LONDON - Manager Kenny Dalglish has said that he will sit down with Liverpool owner John W Henry today to see if he will be given transfer cash this month.

Henry originally planned to wait until the summer to splash the cash, but new arrivals in the current transfer window are now vital, The Sun reports.

With Liverpool only four points off a relegation place after their midweek defeat at Blackpool, Dalglish said: “Whether there will be any players coming in or moving around, I don’t know.

He added: “I can always make a request. It might not always be accepted but I’ve never broached the subject of money being available with the owners. If there is the possibility of bringing somebody in, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

“At present, I’ve not asked for anybody,” he said. (ANI)
