NEW DELHI - Mercurial fast bowler Shantakumaran Sreesanth was disappointed Monday after being ignored for the 15-member Indian squad for the World Cup.

“I am so heart broken… but it’s lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believe in myself. Jai mata di,” the fast bowler tweeted from Cape Town, where he is with the national team for the ODI series against South Africa.

Responding to all messages from his fans on social networking site Twitter, Sreesanth said: “Thanks for all ur support… I will keep giving my very best to the game no matter how small my chances are… I truly believe in God. With the realization of ones own potential and self-confidence in ones ability, one can build a better world.”

“Wishing the team all the very best… i am sure we will win this one… will surely miss it. Was really looking forward to win it… may be next one,” he said.
