MELBOURNE - Tenth seed Mikhail Youzhny and 2008 runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga crashed out of the Australian Open on Saturday.

Canadian qualifier Milos Raonic eliminated Youzhny 6-4, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, to book a fourth-round date with Spanish seventh seed David Ferrer, while Ukraine’s Alexandr Dolgopolov ousted Tsonga 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1, the Age reported.

Youzhny is the first top-10 seed to crash out at Melbourne Park this year.

Meanwhile, fourth seed Robin Soderling extended his unbeaten run to eight matches to charge into the fourth round.

Soderling blasted past Dutch qualifier Jan Hernych 6-3, 6-1, 6-4.
