LONDON - Barcelona’s forward Thierry Henry was doubly happy, as he clinched a Champions League winners’ medal on his daughter’s birthday.
The Barcelona ace’s little daughter Tea turned four on Wednesday. And Henry, who lost in the 2006 final with Arsenal against Barca, said: “It is doubly special for me to win because it is my daughter’s birthday.”
“The disappointment of losing with Arsenal will always be there for me because the club are in my blood but I am very happy tonight. It’s an unbelievable feeling to win the Treble,’ The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Teammate and former Manchester United defender Gerard Pique revealed: “I cut out a bit of the net as a memento of the night.
I feel sorry for United because they are my friends - but I’m pleased we won.” (ANI)
