Chelsea set to pay 60 m pounds for Inter Milan’s Ibrahimovic

LONDON - Chelsea FC has said they will make a stunning 60-million-pound move for Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Blues will offer Inter 50 million pounds plus Ricardo Carvalho and Deco in exchange for the Swedish star.
According to News of The World, Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he is considering the dramatic switch from San Siro to Stamford Bridge.
He said: “I am fully aware that Chelsea want to sign me and, of course, it is very flattering. They are one of the biggest teams in Europe and the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world.”
Chelsea wants to make at least one marquee signing for new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
And the deal would double the cost of Chelsea’s current record signing, 30 million pound to AC Milan for Andrei Shevchenko.
Billionaire boss Roman Abramovich is ready to bankroll another huge Blues’ spending spree.
Ibrahimovic has been quick to claim that the proposed move is not about money. He insisted: “Money is not the most important thing. I will base my decision on what’s good for me, what suits me.”
Ibrahimovic intends to talk with Inter chief Massimo Moratti and coach Jose Mourinho about his future this week as he returns for pre-season training. (ANI)
