Jim Johnson dead at 68

Jim Johnson, Eagles coordinator died at 68 due to a cancerous tumor on the spine.
Who is Jim Johnson? Johnson is the other name of the glorious days of the Eagles. He was famous for his attacking defenses which help Eagles to achieve one prestigious Super Bowl appearance and five NFC title games.
Johnson will be remembered as one of the top defensive mind, his incomparable complex schemes was highly capable of confusing opponents and pressurized the quarterback from every angle.
His defensive strategies consistently ranked among the best in the league, including last season, when the Eagles finished third in total defense and fell one victory short of the Super Bowl.
Feelings of Giants coach Tom Coughlin:
He was great to work with and for, and he had his priorities in order. His players loved to play for him and his coaches loved to coach with him. It is a sad day for the National Football League to lose somebody the quality of Jim Johnson. It is a sad note on which to start the season.
Feelings of Sean McDermott who replaces Johnson:
What haven’t I learned from Jim?” McDermott said. “I don’t think it would be fair to Jim, in this setting, to try and limit in one statement, one press conference, the effect that Jim has had on my life.
Though Johnson had been treated for deadly cancer melanoma since 2001, still he tried his best to coach the team with the disease.
Even with sever back pain and considerable illness Johnson coached the team from the press box and some times also coached from a motorized scooter.
His death was announced by the Eagles on Tuesday afternoon, he was survived by his wife, two children, four grandchildren and several football lovers and followers.
