LONDON - Portuguese and Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs have been insured for 90-million pounds.
According to The Sun, the Spanish club, which bought Ronaldo for a record 80 million pounds in June, want to protect their money if he picks up a long-term injury.
Real Madrid bosses got nervous after Ronaldo, 24, knocked his knee recently, but the doctors gave him the all clear.
The ace has already been fouled 34 times in three pre-season games. That could rocket as opponents target the World Player of the Year.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is banking on Ronaldo - famed for his diving antics - to help win the Champions League. (ANI)
