Packers TE Humphrey to have surgery for broken arm
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Packers coach Mike McCarthy says tight end Tory Humphrey will undergo surgery Friday for a broken forearm.
Humphrey suffered the injury toward the end of Thursday’s morning practice on a collision with safety Aaron Rouse, who intercepted a pass intended for Humphrey.
McCarthy says the team won’t know until after the surgery whether Humphrey will miss the upcoming season. Humphrey sustained a season-ending broken leg on the first day of training camp in 2007.
McCarthy calls the broken arm setback “awful” and says no one works harder than Humphrey.
