England managers talk tactics with Mike Holmgren
LONDON — Three of England’s top sports managers have been swapping techniques with a Super Bowl-winning coach.
England soccer coach Fabio Capello, rugby union team manager Martin Johnson and cricket team director Andy Flower were at a sports summit in London on Friday to meet Mike Holmgren, who led the Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers to the 1996 Super Bowl title. Holmgren coached the Seattle Seahawks until this season.
High on the agenda was discipline and cheating in the wake of rugby’s fake-blood injury scam and diving in soccer.
