LONDON - Manchester City ace Robinho is secretly sleeping in a Michael Jackson-style oxygen chamber in the hope it will speed up the recovery of his broken ankle which refuses to heal.
Jacko was pictured sleeping in an oxygen chamber during the 80s. It was said he believing it would help him live to over 100 - and pet chimp Bubbes snuggled up beside him.
Now teammates of 160,000-pounds-a -week Brazilian Robhino jokingly call him Wacko Jacko.
A City source said: “The fracture wasn’t healing as quickly as everyone had hoped, so Robbie and club thought they would give it a go.
Scuba divers usually use the chamber when they suffer from the bends after rising to the surface too quickly. (ANI)
