LONDON - England batsman Paul Collingwood has something to cheer ahead of the World Cup, after his wife Vicky gave birth to their third child.
The England all-rounder flew out to Bangladesh at the weekend, three days after the birth of his third child.
Collingwood is passing through a bad patch and is hopeful to end the run drought in England’s first warm-up game against Canada tomorrow.
“It was fantastic news. Everything is well and it is perfect timing really,” The Sun quoted hhim, as saying.
“Now I’m really looking forward to this tournament. Conditions are different here, and I’ve played a lot of cricket in the sub-continent,” Collingwood said.
“I can draw on that experience and I’m confident I can make some big contributions,” he added. (ANI)
