PM wishes Dhoni’s men for 2011 World Cup

NEW DELHI - The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, on Thursday conveyed his best wishes to the Indian Cricket team hoping that they perform extremely well in the 2011 World Cup.

Dr. Singh in his message said: I am looking forward to cheering our cricket team and hope that they perform magnificently in the World Cup. I convey my best wishes to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the team.”

India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are jointly hosting the 2011 ICC World Cup.

After two comprehensive victories against Australia and New Zealand in the warm-up games, India takes on Bangladesh in the opening match of the tournament to be played in Dhaka on Saturday. (ANI)
