BANGALORE - England middle-order bat Ian Bell has hailed his team’s ability to reach India’s imposing total of 338 in a Sunday night epic.

“Looking back now, I feel privileged to have been involved in that game,” The Telegraph quoted Bell, as saying of Sunday’s match.

He added: “We can take a hell of a lot from it. We haven’t played our best cricket yet and we have just tied with India, chasing 338. That has got to be a good sign. Going in halfway and chasing 338, I don’t think too many England teams in the past would have done that over here.”

“To do that, for me, and be involved in this one-day side, shows the strides forward we have made as a team. If we can keep doing that, we have the quality in bowling and when we get the bowling and fielding 100 per cent right we’re going to be a good team in this competition,” Bell said. (ANI)
