Binghamton-East Carolina tournament opener postponed until Saturday due to rain

Rain washes out Binghamton-ECU game

GREENVILLE, N.C. — East Carolina’s NCAA tournament opener against Binghamton Friday night was postponed by rain.

Thunderstorms dumped heavy rains in Greenville, preventing the game from starting. It will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The loser plays an elimination game against George Mason at 2 p.m., and the winner will face South Carolina at 6 p.m.
