Warner and Blazer re-elected to posts
NASSAU, Bahamas — Jack Warner has been re-elected as president and Chuck Blazer as general secretary of CONCACAF by the FIFA executive committee.
Warner and Blazer ran without opposition at FIFA’s congress on Monday. Each will return to the FIFA executive committee for another four years, representing North and Central America and the Caribbean.
Warner was first elected to the executive committee in 1983, and will retain his post as FIFA vice president and act as CONCACAF’s Caribbean representative until 2013. Blazer will return to his post as the representative from North America, a position he has held since 1996.
