Brandon Walters to transfer out of Seton Hall

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. — Forward Brandon Walters is leaving Seton Hall after two seasons and will transfer to another basketball program.

Coach Bobby Gonzalez announced Walters’ decision on Friday.

Walters played in 41 games over the last two seasons, including a career-high 28 games last year. He averaged 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game in his career.

The Brooklyn, N.Y., native scored a career-high eight points at Notre Dame in January. He grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in the 2008-09 regular season finale at Louisville.
