LONDON - Midfield superstar David Beckham has revealed that he could be back to play in England next season.

Beckham said revealed he has already discussed his next move with England boss Fabio Capello.

Becks, 34, is due to return to LA Galaxy next month after completing a six-month loan spell with AC Milan.

But he said: “I will definitely be coming back to Europe in December because of the World Cup.

“Nothing has been finalised yet but Mr. Capello has always said to me ‘Wherever you go, play at the highest level’.

“AC Milan are one of the clubs who have shown an interest but there are a number of top leagues in Europe, including England. So we’ll just have to see what happens,” he said.

Beckham’s comments are sure to start a mass scramble.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has already expressed an interest in a six-month loan deal.

And Becks could follow his former Milan chief Carlo Ancelotti to Chelsea.

Beckham, who still has three years of his Galaxy contract to run, has already missed the first three months of the MLS season and his absence has angered many American supporters. (ANI)
