Andy Roddick beats 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt in 5 sets to reach Wimbledon semifinals

Roddick advances to Wimbledon semifinals
WIMBLEDON, England — Andy Roddick has reached his fourth Wimbledon semifinal by beating 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt 6-3, 6-7 (10), 7-6 (1), 4-6, 6-4.
The American broke Hewitt to lead 5-4 in the final set and then served out the match Wednesday. He finished the match with 43 aces.
Roddick lost to Roger Federer in the final at the All England Club in both 2004 and ‘05, but had not been back to the semifinals since then. He also reached the last four in 2003.
Roddick will next face third-ranked Andy Murray.
