Ferguson holds no complaint against Ronaldo

LONDON - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he holds no complaint against Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving Manchester United to join Real Madrid. erguson had always said that he would not let 24-year-old leave for Madrid, but ultimately had to bow to the world record 80 million pounds transfer fee.

Though Ferguson is disappointed to lose Ronaldo, he did wish the Portuguese star ahead of his next venture.

“I had a good relationship with the boy but I never, ever thought we were going to keep him for a long time,” The Independent quoted Ferguson, as saying.

“We are proud and pleased to have him for six years. He has had this opportunity to take another challenge and I respect him for that,” he added. (ANI)
