LONDON - Coach Carlo Ancelotti reckons Didier Drogba can be the unstoppable attacking force in his Chelsea team.

The Italian said: “Drogba is a very important player for us - he’s irreplaceable, as no other striker in the world can do the same job. I’ve spoken with Drogba and know very well what he wants.

“I believe in Drogba and told him this and he told me he’s happy to stay,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.

There has been interest in the 30-year-old Ivory Coast striker from both Inter and AC Milan but Drogba has decided he does not want to leave Chelsea.

He is expected to sign a two-year extension to his current deal when the players return from their American tour and his salary will rise to 102,000 pounds a week. (ANI)
