Wild sign Brodziak, Lannon

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Wild have signed center Kyle Brodziak to a three-year deal on Thursday to avoid arbitration.

The Wild acquired Brodziak from the Edmonton Oilers in a trade on draft night. An arbitration hearing was scheduled for July 30.

The signing leaves goaltender Josh Harding as the remaining arbitration-eligible player on the team. His hearing is scheduled for July 29.

The Wild also signed defenseman Ryan Lannon to a one-year deal. Lannon played for new Wild coach Todd Richards with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL. Lannon spent last season with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL.
