Atwal, Chopra miss cut in Buick Open

GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP - Arjun Atwal missed the cut with a second round 73 following a first round 71 for a total of even par 144 in the Buick Open Friday.

Interestingly, Daniel Chopra also missed the cut with identical scores in both rounds. They were both tied 95th and the cut came at four-under 140.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods went six-under for his first five holes before finishing the second round in nine-under 63, which was his best low round in relation to par in four years. He had a chipped eagle and four birdies in first five holes.

John Senden (66) took the second-round lead at 14-under, two shots ahead of Michael Letzig (65) and further behind were Vaughn Taylor (68) and Bill Lunde (65). Woods entered the weekend four strokes back.
