Yang takes lead from Woods at PGA, 4 holes left

CHASKA, Minn. — Y.E. Yang has taken the lead from Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship.

Yang is at 8 under with four holes to play, one stroke in front of Woods. No one else is within four strokes at Hazeltine National.

In contention at a major for the first time, Yang has shown no signs of wilting under the glare of playing with the world’s No. 1 player. Quite the opposite, in fact.

He holed out from the greenside rough for an eagle on the par-4 14th. Woods made an 8-footer for birdie, but that still left him a stroke behind.

(This version CORRECTS APNewsNow. corrects to show Yang in the rough)
