Usain Bolt pulls out of SKorean meet with fatigue
SEOUL, South Korea — Usain Bolt has pulled out of a meet this month in South Korea because of fatigue.
Bolt’s agent told the organizing committee of the Daegu Pre-Championship Meeting on Thursday. He says the reigning world and Olympic champion in the 100 and 200 meters is too tired to take part in the one-day competition on Sept. 25 in Daegu.
Daegu is host of the 2011 track and field world championships.
Yonhap news agency cited organizing committee vice president Moon Dong-hoo as saying Bolt is also expected to miss the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix scheduled for Sept. 20.
