Arnaud Clement upsets 5th-seeded Andreas Beck 6-4, 6-2 in 1st round of Stockholm Open

Clement, Berrer, Bellucci win at Stockholm Open
STOCKHOLM — Arnaud Clement upset fifth-seeded Andreas Beck of Germany 6-4, 6-2 Tuesday in the first round of the Stockholm Open.
The Frenchman dominated after Beck started the match well. In the second set, Clement took a 5-1 lead before closing it out on his third match point.
Beck was the third seeded player to be knocked out in the first round. On Monday, No. 6 Benjamin Becker of Germany and No. 7 Albert Montanes of Spain each lost.
Clement will play Michael Berrer of Germany, who edged Henri Kontinen 7-5, 7-6 (7).
Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil stopped Frederik Nielsen 7-6 (6), 6-3 and will face Leonardo Meyer of Argentina.
Robert Kendrick of the United States defeated Oscar Hernandez 6-3, 6-4, and Olivier Rochus of Belgium beat wild-card Andreas Vinciguerra 6-3, 6-2.
Jarkko Nieminen of Finland also advanced after routing Grigor Dimitrov 6-0, 6-2, while Andreas Seppi of Italy outplayed Victor Crivoi 6-4, 6-1.
