BARODA - Indian cricket team on Friday sweat it out at the nets here, ahead of the first of the seven match One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia.

Ace batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag were seen practicing hard as Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar and Harbhajan Singh bowled to them.

India have been strengthened by the return of the explosive batting pair of Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh from injuries.

Australia, on the other hand, are hoping to carry the momentum from this month’s Champions Trophy success into the seven-match one-day series in India, starting on Sunday.

The venues of the other matches are Nagpur (October 28), New Delhi (October 31), Mohali (November 2), Hyderabad (November 5), Guwahati (November 8) and Mumbai (November 11). (ANI)
