Fox Sports reported a good crowd for the first entry in the Amtrak World Series between the Phillies and Yankees on Wednesday.
Game 1 averaged an 11.9 Nielsen rating with a 19 share and an average audience of 19.5 million viewers. That’s up from 9.2/15 and 14.6 million for Game 1 of Phillies-Rays. We are optimistic about a substancial increase in the crowd for the rest of the series.
