San Francisco - According to sources, the Saints who won the game against The Falcons on Monday night, were helped by the new mouthpieces that they were wearing. PPM or the Pure Power Mouthguard reportedly did not only protect the player’s jaws but also made them more flexible.
The producers, ‘Makkar’, say that the flexibility that is improved by their mouthpiece is “game changing”. The producers of the appliance also said that they had carried out tests, and the results were out. They handed over the summary of these results to the public. These results show that the mouthpiece helps in the players jumping up higher. Along side, the performance proved to be better for “the average mean power for WAnT + intervals”. The results also show that the “peak power on the WAnt is higher too”.
The instrument has been invented by the neuromuscular dentist, Dr. Anil Makkar. He says that the mouth pieces are custom-made according to the individual players needs. The appliance reportedly, “naturally aligns the athlete’s jaw and because of this, the athlete has enhanced explosive power, balance, range of motion, flexibility, endurance and oxygen flow during training and competition, allowing them to maximize their performance”. The inventor, Dr. Makkar, has graduated earlier from the Dalhousie Dental school in the year 1989. He was mentored by Dr. William Dickerson (the founder of LVI), and learned under Dr. Clayton Chan, Dr. Norman Thomas etc. He is also the member of Academy Of Computerized Dentistry. He also got the chance to be selected by the Victoria Court Dental and did Judy Edwards’ smile makeover, who was the winner of the contest. Mrs Globe Pageant had him as a judge in the year 2005.
