Women Boxing team determined to bring gold from Kazakistan

BHOPAL - Ahead of the international boxing championship which starts on Sunday in Kazakistan, the women boxing team of India has trained itself at a camp held here.
The women boxers having trained themselves under the guidance of their coach are all to make a mark at the international competition and determined to do their countrymen proud.
“We are working very hard and we will return victorious from Kazakhstan. Sir (Roshan Lal) has made us work very hard, we are now well trained,” said Meena Kumari, a boxer.
India is sending eight women boxers to the international boxing championship and they will be competing in 46, 48 and 51 Kilograms category.
Team’s coach Roshan Lal said the boxers were expecting to get good results.
“The preparation camp was held under Lal’s guidance, “The boxers are performing well and we expect to get good results,” Lal said.

International boxing championship will be held in Kazakhstan from December 12-17, 2009. (ANI)
