TELLURIDE, Colo. — American Olympic snowboardcross hopeful Brooke Shaw has injured her left knee in training and will not compete in a qualifying event Saturday.
Shaw, one of America’s top young riders, hurt her knee in training Wednesday and was taken to a hospital in Vail for testing.
Results of her MRI were not immediately available, but she was ruled out of Saturday’s qualifying event, which includes Olympic silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis.
