NEW ORLEANS (GaeaTimes.com)- The Sugar Bowl game marked the last one for Tim Tebow’s college career. Though the game was filled with several action packed moments, Tim Tebow formed a special attraction of the night. As it was the last game of his college career, people were interested to watch him playing a good game. Fans were also curious to know the Bible passage that he selected for his “eye black” on the final game of his college career. Tim Tebow, a devout Christian, on the last game of his college career wore Ephesians 2:8-10 passage.
Tim Tebow is known for his Christian faith and it is not the first time that he has displayed a Bible passage on his “eye blacks”. Before Ephesians 2:8-10, in the SEC Championship game he had worn John 16:33 passage under his eyes. On last year’s BCS Championship Game, he had displayed John 3:16 passage. Earlier, he was seen to put Philippians 4:13 on the black painted portion under his eyes.
Many people have been curious to know the reason for which the young player has always selected Bible passages for his eye black. When asked by the media, Tim Tebow said while putting on the eye black he realized that displaying Biblical verse on his eye black might help people in learning different things. He did not anticipate the Biblical verses on his eye black would get so much momentum after some days. The Bible passage Ephesians 2:8-10 worn by the player helped people develop interest in the teachings of Bible. Sources stated that there were several instances when many people who were not familiar with the verses selected by the player, searched the internet to know about them.
