ROME - Brescia striker Francesco Flachi has tested positive for cocaine, less than a year after ending a two-year ban for using the drug, Italian media reported.

The 34-year-old failed a drug test after a Serie B game against Modena in December. His previous ban stemmed from cocaine use detected after a Serie A game he played with Sampdoria against Inter Milan in January 2007.

Flachi played part of the past season with Empoli in the Serie B and transferred to Brescia in the summer. He also played with Serie A side Fiorentina and with Bari and Ancona in the Serie B.
