Tendulkar creates history, scores first double century in one-day international

GWALIOR - Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday scored first ever double century and also broke the world record for highest runs in ODI held by Pakistan’s Saeed Anwar for 194 runs, while playing in the second ODI here against South Africa.

Sachin scored 200 not out in just 147 balls playing with Team India skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni on the other end who scored 68* in just 35 balls.

Dhoni in his inning scored seven (4s) and four (6s).

In his 147 ball inning, Sachin scored 25 fours and 3 sixes to make 200*.

Team India concluded its inning with its mammoth total of 401/3. (ANI)
