Chester Taylor is particularly liked by the new offensive coordinator of Chicago Bears, Mike Martz. Though many critics have questioned the choice, there is no doubt that the career records of Chester Taylor speak for him. Chester Taylor had amazingly run 1216 yards while playing for the Minnesota Vikings in the year 2006. He has also performed the role of a pass catcher on the backfield area and his pick by the Minnesota Vikings seem to be due to his later role. Chicago bears last season had suffered in the backfield and this year they are trying to leave a mark at the NFL.
Chester Taylor had contributed to the Minnesota Vikings team greatly before his role was cut down by the inclusion of Adrian Peterson. He is known for his 42 catches for 389 yards. He has also for his personal best, 94 carries in 338 yards. All these make him a worthy choice for the Chicago Bears. The club has signed Chester Taylor along with Julius Peppers and Brandon Manumaleuna. It is optimistic about its coming season with the new bunch of players. The head coach of Chicago Bears, Lovie Lee Smith has reportedly said that the new players who have been added to the team will definitely lead the team towards the championship.
