Re: Maya Moore

SAN ANTONIO (Gaea Times.com)- Maya Moore is the winning factor for University Of Connecticut. After the loss of Stanford University at the NCAA Basketball Title match, one really can’t argue on that. However, the scenario was entirely different at the very kick start of the game where University of Connecticut was trailing behind the Stanford University girls by 20-12 at the halftime.

Even Maya Moore, the star player of the team only had five points in the beginning of the match which did make the whole team run panicky along with University of Connecticut coach, Geno Auriemma, who was quite sure that his team was all destined for a loss at the hand of Stanford University. That would have been a total disaster to University Of Connecticut, which have had a winning saga over 77 matches.

From a start with 5 points, Maya Moore emerged to score 11 points for her team out of a total 16 pointer session which was the very first time when University Of Connecticut had kicked back into the game. Maya Moore was doing everything; she was blocking, she was blind passing, she was going for bank shots and she was cross dribbling all opponents. She also passed in a few good throws for her team mates. Maya Moore finished off at a great score of 23 points along with 11 rebounds. By that time, University of Connecticut had taken total control of the ball. In a few minutes, the scoreboard was flashing a score of 53-47 in favor of University Of Connecticut. Coach Geno Auriemma was all in praises for his golden girl Maya Moore. Maya Moore was overjoyed with her team winning the women’s title at the NCAA.
